Finishing up
So I figured out the gnomes arms... I am tying and then weaving the ends into their bodies. It should withstand some pretty heafty play.

I am thinking of putting in another order at knitpicks. I really would like a primary rainbow of this yarn http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/yarn_display.aspx?itemid=5420103 so that I can make Chris a bunch of guys for his stocking. I picked Grass, Daffodil, Blue Bonnet, and Red. I also got a bunch of stuff for scarves to sell at our camping park's craft fair.

Onto family news. Chris has an amazingly high tolerance for pain, according to his doc. Poor kid had his eardrum rupture AGAIN! We are being referred to a ear, nose and throat specialist for tubes. Our ped is concerned with his ear's ability to go from a barely there infection to rupturing in a matter of 12 hours. Blech. I don't want him to go through any blood drawing/surgery/poking/prodding, but I have to put that aside, cause I would much rather him go through that stuff then lose his hearing.

Well CRAP!
My stupid links are being a pain in the arse... I'll admit, I am not the most computer savvy, but I am not stupid.

That is all, I'm frustrated.

Got some yarn, got some needles...
and I am rockin'!

A bunch of stuff I have been waiting on came this week :) :) :). Here are some pics-

These guys got finished for a swap I am in. They turned out really cute, but I am having problems with just tying off the little strings. The knots just come undone????
Oh well, I am working on 2 orange ones, and one blue one for the swap. I hope that they will be loved.
Chris wants me to make him a big one and Joey a little one, so those are on the list too.

The cardigan is slowly coming along. I am a instant gratification type of gal, so it is not my top priority, although I am now finishing one side of the front, so 3/4 of the way through it.

In other news, we went to San Diego this weekend, and it went wonderfully. We did the Sea World thing, and a short trip to the zoo and the boys did great. Chris can't wait to go back for more of the animals. We will probably camp there in November. I was pretty pissed at my sister... she was supposed to go with us to be the sitter for one of the nights (I asked her weeks ago), and she bailed on me the night before. We had plans for dinner at a cool Morrocan restaurant, complete with belly dancers and good food, that came highly recommended, and we had to cancel them. UGH! Sisters can be a pain.

I started teaching my mommy and me yoga class last week, and it went awesome! I love doing it, and it's pretty easy, the lesson plan is provided. The mom's are really nice, and pretty understanding when things don't go as smoothly as I would like. I am looking forward to it Thursday.

Good lord
I have been in a funk lately. I have come to the conclusion that Paul just likes to make it worse.

I hope I get out of it soon.

Today we are going to the county fair! Chris is so excited, he has been counting down all week :).

Joey's cardigan is still coming along. I think it's going to be huge. I made it a 2T, cause he is a big boy, but I am second guessing that decision now. Ahhh, well. It's wool, so I guess I can felt it a bit if needed. I am in the middle of the arms now, so I am thinking another week on it. I really need some circ's for the it though, the straights are so heavy when I have the whole sweater on one side.

Once I get some batteries I will get a WIP (work in progress) pic up.

Here I am!!!
So, the projects have been coming along. I can't seem to get my tension perfect, but I am told it will come in time. I also know that I am anal.

I am about halfway through Joey's cardigan from Little Turtle Knits. It's being done up in Paton's merino in a heather grey color. I had a lot of trouble getting my gauge perfect on it... the pattern calls for eights, and I am having to knit really loosely on 10's. I will probably get some heavy worsted to do up Chris'.

Joey has a couple of longies now. They were super quick to knit up (well that, and I am obsessed, lol). I love the dragonfly ones-

On the list of things to do are--
Paul's beanie
a couple baby hats for Laura's little one on the way
Scarves for the girlies in the family for Christmas
Another pair of longies and shorties for Joey (I have a couple of handpaints that I am loving!)
Chris' cardigan and gnomes
Gnomes for holiday trades

Oh, oh! I got my package of knitpicks yarn, and I am loving the stuff. Prices are awesome and the yarns are too! I handpainted some wool of the andes, got some merino, sock yarns and butterfly yarns. I love fluffy packages!
